So, a man in a pick up today claimed that the don trail, south of the point where it crosses that street... (not too far north of the lake) (sorry for being vauge) is a street itself.

Now, there are parts that seem like access roads and such, but... in this case, I think his truck was wider than the path.

It certainly seems like a street to me. 8-)

You are most likely referring to the path just south of Pottery Road. There is a steel post guarding the entrance to the path there to stop cars but I find Parks & Recreation vehicles which remove it for regular maintance don't always replace the barrier.

Yes! I don't know why I didn't look it up on the map before I posted. I was probably tired from the ride and venting. heh.

But I just did, and indeed that would be Pottery Road.

If the man in the truck had said he was there as a city worker, I'd understand. But, he claimed it was a road instead of claiming that that he was authorized to drive on something that wasn't a road.

Strrrange. Lets just hope a roadie doesn't find 2tons of metal around the corner of a turn.
