Share 'Don trail = road?'

So, a man in a pick up today claimed that the don trail, south of the point where it crosses that street... (not too far north of the lake) (sorry for being vauge) is a street itself. Now, there are parts that seem like access roads and such, but... in this case, I think his truck was wider than the path. It certainly seems like a street to me. 8-)
